DMCC and GJEPC launch inaugural Dubai Global Gem & Jewellery Fair GGJF 2014


DUBAI : DMCC, Dubai’s and the region’s global gateway for commodity trade and enterprise and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) India, organized the inaugural Global Gem & Jewellery Fair (GGJF) in Dubai at Atlantis, The Palm during 20-22 March, 2014.  Pankaj Parekh, Vice-Chairman, GJEPC, said at the inauguration, “India’s central role as the sourcing centre for diamonds and precious stones jewellery is renowned world-wide. For years traders and visitors to India have enjoyed the craftsmanship, quality, design and cost efficiency – now it’s time we return the gesture and bring the source to Dubai - the most promising destination for the gemstones and jewellery trade in recent times.”
